1946

Del Priest (Greg’s Grandfather) started trucking grain and livestock in Ontario and Eastern Canada.
1960

Del bought his first gravel pit and operated under D & G Sand and Gravel. For several years Del Priest worked under D & G Sand and Gravel, until his son (Garry) opened Garry Priest Trucking Limited which operated a small fleet of trucks along with residential construction projects.
1992

Greg was heavily involved with the business growing up and with the sudden passing of his father stepped in and purchased GPT in 1992 at the age of 19.
2002

In 2002, Greg Priest started G. Priest Construction Limited and focused on the gravel pit and construction services while maintaining dedicated trucking services in Barrie, Minesing, Simcoe County and areas.
2011

In 2011, G. Priest Construction was sold. Shortly after, Greg Priest returned to the Industry with his sons, under the name G. Priest Services offering sand and gravel sales, trucking and a full line of construction services. Today the business continues to grow in all aspects with plans to expand.
